Apple objector fails to secure stay on €22m High Court order

Three brothers, one of whom objected to a planned €850m data centre Apple was hoping to build in Co Galway, have lost a fight to have a stay put on a successful High Court claim against them by Ulster Bank for €22m in unpaid loans. The Court of Appeal has ruled that the stays sought by Brian, Kenneth and Maurice McDonagh would deprive the bank of the “fruits of victory”.
