Making bank: Indian social media influencers saw 46% spike in advertising during Covid

When the Covid-19 pandemic triggered a 20% slump in traditional modes of advertising in the country, social media influencers enjoyed a 46% increase in their ad-based revenue, says a new study. The Digital Marketing Agencies in India conducted a survey among 250 marketers and social media influencers in February 2022. It found that as the pandemic threw up a major challenge for offline marketing activities across India.
