When the prior weakness was discovered earlier in the month, Microsoft announced the company would “provide an update in an upcoming release," but users are instructed to be on high alert while the security flaw still exists. According to Forbes, the patch released to fix a vulnerability discovered earlier in November was not effective, and the new vulnerability is already being exploited.
