When Matt Davies reached the base camp of Mount Everest, it wasn’t the only peak of his achievements for 2019.
For most people, trudging 130km through the Himalayas in high winds and thinning oxygen would take some beating. But Davies is also proud to be co-founder of an Edinburgh team signed up by Boeing to develop potentially life-saving software that will detect aircraft faults faster and more effectively than the human eye.
